Our client, a leading Defence organisation is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a growing Maritime programme and other variants. The role is open to junior candidates who demonstrate strong engineering behaviours, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
The Systems Engineer will support the through-life engineering of the PDLT subsystem within a fast-paced delivery environment supporting UK and international customers.
- Supporting in-service technical queries and engineering issues
- Undertaking Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML/UML and Rhapsody
- Supporting product validation, verification, and certification of changes
- Working with project teams to support planning, forecasting, and delivery updates
- Producing and reviewing technical engineering documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices
Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle (requirements, integration, test) and configuration control.
Experience in engineering delivery or technical problem solving (junior-level experience acceptable).
