We are looking for a Skilled Aircraft Fitter based in Blackburn. In this role, you will carry out fitting tasks, including riveting, drilling, and sealing as required, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. If you have experience in aircraft fitting we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities for an Aircraft Fitter:
- Carrying out fitting tasks such as riveting, drilling and sealing.
- Operate a range of hand and air-powered tools effectively and safely.
- Maintain strict adherence to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate fitting and timely completion of aircraft components.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, upholding workplace safety and environmental standards.
Requirements for an Aircraft Fitter:
- Proven track record of Aircraft fitting and assembly experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
- Experienced in a variety of hand and air-powered tools, including drills, rivet mills, and measuring equipment, to perform assembly and maintenance duties.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
