Due to continued growth and new project opportunities, they are seeking a Senior Geo Environmental Engineer to join their Belfast team. About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geo Environmental professional to take a leading role across technically challenging brownfield regeneration, ground investigation, contaminated land and hydrogeological projects. The successful candidate will deliver and oversee contaminated land, ground investigation and hydrogeological work across a diverse range of sectors. The role will involve planning, managing and supervising site investigations, interpreting technical data, preparing and reviewing technical reports, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and contributing to business development. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage and supervise ground investigations, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring Manage site investigation activities and ensure appropriate health, safety and environmental standards are maintained Undertake contaminated land assessments and apply current technical guidance and development planning requirements Prepare Phase 1 desk studies and preliminary risk assessments Prepare and review Phase 2 interpretative reports Undertake qualitative and quantitative risk assessments Interpret technical and environmental data and communicate findings through clear, concise and technically robust reports Apply current standards and guidance relating to contaminated land investigation and remediation Liaise confidently with clients, stakeholders and colleagues Support business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of the team's market profile Contribute to the delivery of technically robust and science led environmental solutions Skills
