We are looking for experienced PLC / Controls Engineers to support intralogistics and manufacturing projects across the UK.
The Role
- PLC programming, configuration, testing and commissioning of automated material handling and manufacturing systems.
- Fault finding and diagnostics across PLC, HMI, controls and automation systems.
- Supporting the commissioning and integration of conveyors, sortation, automated machinery and associated equipment.
- Working from electrical schematics, control panels and technical documentation.
- Software modifications, optimisation and system troubleshooting.
- Supporting site acceptance testing and project handover.
- Working closely with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams.
- Completing technical reports and site documentation.
- Potential UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PLC / Controls / Automation Engineer.
- Experience within intralogistics, automation, manufacturing or industrial environments is ideal.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or similar PLC platforms.
- Good understanding of industrial automation, controls and electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexible to travel and work away when required.
