Salary: £48,541 a year – Permanent – Full-time – Flexible working.

Job Summary

Provide subject‑matter expertise across firewalls, switching, routing, LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms. Diagnose and resolve advanced technical faults, deliver high‑level support to users of ICT hardware and software, and act as a subject‑matter expert in planning and delivery of infrastructure projects for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced technical faults on supported equipment throughout the organisation.
  • Provide advanced technical support to users of ICT services hardware and software.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for delivery of infrastructure projects for all stakeholders.
  • Provide 24×7 on‑call support on a rota basis for all ICT supported services and liaise with specialised support groups and third parties on incident resolution.
  • Travel between sites in Warwickshire as and when needed.

Qualifications – Person Specification

  • Proven leadership in a technical environment, with a track record of setting high standards and positively influencing peers and colleagues.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Advanced network troubleshooting and LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi technologies.
  • Storage and compute including virtualization.
  • Firewalls.
  • Hardware & software installation troubleshooting.
