Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional who is experienced within Road Logistics and Freight services ? We are looking for a Sales Manager to join one of the world’s leading logistics companies.

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Company car
As the Road Logistics Sales Manager you will develop and implement sales strategies, enabling the team to achieve exceptional revenue and consignment growth, consistently surpassing budget expectations. You will be responsible for building and cultivating a high-performing team that identifies, develops, and secures new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage sales strategies through identifying market opportunities and initiatives to support strategic growth plans.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by supporting the team in managing customer accounts, ensuring retention through exceptional customer service.
- Help propel revenue and consignment growth, ensuring the team meet and exceed sales targets.
- Continuously develop sales talent through ongoing coaching and training, ensuring the team are skilled at identifying business opportunities, addressing client needs with tailored solutions, along with having an in-depth knowledge of all freight services.
- Be accountable for the branch team ensuring they have the support, resources and training required to achieve targets. This includes recruitment, induction and conducting performance and annual reviews of all branch colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to provide a seamless journey for customers, ensuring satisfaction at every stage.
- Record and monitor Sales performance, utilizing CRM systems to track and analyse efficiency. Making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance of branch.
- Have financial responsibility for the branch, ensuring that the branch delivers P+L growth through effective business development and cost control.

The successful Road Logistics Sales Manager will:
- Be experienced within Road logistics and Freight services with a proven track record in B2B sales management.
- Have previous line management experience across the full employee life cycle including employee engagement and performance management.
- Be knowledgeable with a full understanding of both international and domestic road/freight logistics including customs procedures, DAP and DDP solutions from UK to EU and vice versa.
- Be highly computer literate including CRM software with strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with the ability to travel for work as required.
