Pay & Working Pattern
£140 per night (includes holiday pay accrual – holiday pay is accrued and held separately, not paid out weekly). Working pattern: 8‑10 am & 8‑8 am waking, remaining time sleeping.
Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for our male client in Peacehaven with complex healthcare and developmental needs, including neurological, physical, sensory, and emotional support requirements. The role involves implementing care plans, administering medication, and providing compassionate, tailored support to promote independence and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be calm, proactive, have a great sense of humour, and enjoy gaming, history, and comedy. You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long‑term role.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- At least 12 months of homecare experience
- Experience with complex needs including brain injury, visual impairments, behavioural and learning difficulties
- Car driver with full right to work in the UK
- Compassion, professionalism and reliability
- Good communication skills and IT confidence
- Willingness to be part of a family‑centred care team
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
