Your Role

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for a male client based in South Ockenden. We are looking for a chatty and proactive candidate that is happy to engage in lots of conversation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, along with a confident and compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Cough assist
  • Invasive ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Autonomic dysreflexia management
  • Catheter care
  • Moving and handling
  • Personal care
  • Activities of daily living
  • CPAP/BiPAP support

Requirements

  • At least 12 months of care experience including tracheostomy and spinal cord injury
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family‑centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
  • Hold full right to work in the UK
