Your Role. As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for our male client based in South Ockendon. We are looking for a chatty and proactive candidate that is happy to engage in lots of conversation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, along with a confident and compassionate approach to care.

Clinical Support Required:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Cough assist
  • Invasive ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Autonomic dysreflexia
  • Catheter care
  • Moving and handling
  • Personal cares
  • Activities of daily living
  • CPAP/BiPAP

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long‑term role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 12 months of care experience including tracheostomy care and spinal cord injury
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family‑centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health

Location & Work Details:

  • South Ockendon
  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week, 8‑8 days or nights
  • £15 – £16.60 per hour (includes holiday pay accrual)
  • Full training provided
  • Full right to work in the UK required
