We are seeking experienced Live-In Carers to support a young client with complex needs in a 2:1 long-term, stable placement based in a family home setting in Eastbourne.

About the Role

  • Full training provided, live-in basis, salary £1200 per week, driver licence, recent UK experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide complex care to a young client in a 2:1 arrangement.
  • Work within structured care plans.
  • Engage positively, maintain routine, support social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with qualified clinical leads, care coordinator, and support staff.
  • Participate in shadowing, competency assessments and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of care experience including seizure management, tracheostomy care, nebuliser therapy and oral suctioning.
  • Car driver with full driving licence.
  • Compassion, professionalism, reliability.
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence.
  • Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding.
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health.
