This is a full-time role for a Project Engineer (Sustainability) located in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sustainability projects, including project planning and managing life cycle assessments. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards, and providing technical support to clients and research partners. The role requires effective communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a sustainability related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mindset with good project planning skills
- Working knowledge of life cycle assessment, environmental product declarations and/or other techniques for sustainability analysis
- Ability to work on-site in Rotherham, with occasional visits to customer facilities and industry events
- Previous experience of delivering or managing sustainability projects is a plus
- Familiarity with the aluminium, metals, transportation, packaging, construction or energy sectors would be advantageous
