Job Title: Trade Customs Clerk

Location: Peterlee, County Durham

12 months Contract

3 days a week role and all 3 days will need to be onsite.

Hours: Part Time – 18 hours

£21.60 / hr umbrella Inside IR35

Needs to do the 18 hours over 3 days.

Team usually work 07:30 – 16:00.

Would like them to have 3 set days each week but is room to change if required. Need to do the 18 hours over 3 days but have at least 2 full days.

Travel: Not required for this role

Job description:

Import and Export Trade customs

Responsibilities include:

• Import/Export Compliance

• Day To Day activities

• Clearance Instructions

• Reviewing customs documentation

• HMRC compliance

• Data management for commodity codes

• Data entry on a Duty management system

Skills and experience:

• Import / Export Customs compliance experience

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Effective communication

• Managing multiple priorities

• Relationship management with 3rd party service providers, HMRC, Technical Tax & Trade Central team, various business teams and support services (such as IT)
