Key competencies:
- Proven experience in offshore site characterisation and analyses of in situ data and laboratory test results.
- In-depth experience with planning, scoping and execution of offshore geotechnical site investigations, including operational and in situ techniques.
- In-depth experience with Leg Penetration Analyses and engineering assessments applicable to jack-up installations.
- Proven experience with processing and validating geotechnical data, including AGS data handling and writing Geotechnical Interpretation Reports (GIRs).
- Knowledge of the geotechnical input required for foundation and cable design, installation constraints and understanding of the interfaces with different engineering teams.
- A high degree of personal responsibility and accountability, capable of working with different tasks in parallel.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills; enjoys working closely with colleagues and project teams.
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
- Must be result-oriented.
Tasks:
- Review of leg penetration and spudcan-quay wall interaction analyses provided by consultants; review of leg penetration analysis and vessel suitability; high-level jack-up installation assessment using in-house tools and methods.
- Supporting scoping, planning and operations for geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing.
- Analysing and interpreting large geotechnical datasets to deliver high-quality site characterisations and engineering soil/rock properties for design and installation assessments.
- Supporting engineering assessments for jack-up installations.
- Other tasks aligned with the competencies above and support offshore wind farm site characterisation and related engineering activities.
