Exciting contract in Emissions Certification within the automotive manufacturing sector. You will be focused on regulatory guidance, certification, and conformance services. The role is central to ensuring the automotive manufacturing business can sell products globally with the necessary emissions standards in place.
Responsibilities will include:
- Deploying a clear explanation of engine emissions certification requirements, the associated legal obligations and business processes
- Coaching associated business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely execution of certification work streams
- Leading the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request, through certificate received, to emissions label implementation
- Maintaining owned emissions certificates and associated labels through life of production
- Developing / fostering a collaborative relationship with global governmental agency representatives
Desirable skills/experience:
- Combustion engine and aftertreatment calibration testing experience
- Engine performance and emissions certification test experience
- Knowledge of nonroad engine emissions regulations testing requirements
- 3+ years hands on experience in obtaining engine emissions certification
- Proven ability to instigate and successfully lead parallel work streams to firm timing and quality targets
- An engineering or legal education / background
- Knowledge and experience of various data systems including, but not limited to, CANape, engine management interface software, Microsoft 365 package knowledge.
