Embedded Software Engineer Senior

Job Title :: Embedded Software Model Developer Location: Peterborough Contract Duration: 12 Months Rate: £34.20/hr (Umbrella) About the Role As an Embedded Software Model Developer , you will play a key role in delivering a growing portfolio of electronically controlled engine projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and debug complex embedded software using Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow . Contribute to the development of real-time control systems. Utilize software version control systems such as GIT . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Engage in calibration and diagnostics using tools like CANape, CANalyser, or CANoe . Support the implementation of new features and system enhancements. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow in embedded systems. Strong background in complex embedded programming and debugging . Proficiency in software version control systems (e.g., GIT). Minimum 3 years of industry experience in high-volume product development. Desirable Skills Familiarity with Data Links (CAN/Ethernet). Experience with Calibration/Diagnostic tools (CANape, CANalyser, CANoe). Background in automotive or off-highway vehicle powertrain applications . Prior experience in vehicle, construction equipment, or engine control software development .
