Client Representatives for Export cables Installation in London, UK for 12 Months at £700/day umbrella Inside IR35.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
- Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
- Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
Tasks:
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
- Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
- Be present as a witness during installation during all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable.
- Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
- Synergi reporting as supervised by the specific package and project from incidents and from safety walks.
Deliverables:
- Daily recording of activities relating to load-out, transit, positioning and installation.
- The Client Rep. will conduct visual inspection of the offshore Work in progress and monitor that it is carried out as per approved RAMS.
- The Client Rep. has no contractual authority, except for the authority to intervene or stop the operation in case of safety, quality infringements or the procedures not being followed by the Contractor.
Mandatory:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- Medical certificate including Chester step.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
Recommended:
- Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within specific package area.
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet).
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC and/or iPhone. External consultants’ equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and iPads must always be up-to-date with the latest iOS release. The owner must allow AirWatch security and management software for iPhones and iPads to be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by staff (including External consultants) to protect them from cybercrime. The owner must grant approval for to remove apps, data and access from privately owned equipment if it is deemed to pose a risk in relation to security or the GDPR regulations, if the equipment is lost/stolen, or if the owner ceases to have an active contract with Magnit and/or Ørsted. When an external consultant leaves, they must contact the IT Service Desk to remove all Ørsted apps and data. The IT Service Desk can only support privately owned equipment in connection with AirWatch security and management software.
