Contract as Human Resources Lead within an internationally focused industrial gas company. Be the operational change behind the staffing which leads sustainability solutions to industrial processes.

This is a Hybrid role. You will need to access Hull, Crewe, or Manchester offices.

You will be responsible for employment related legal and regulatory compliance within supported countries. Including for HR policies, procedures and processes and responsibility for all legal and regulatory compliance within the full employee lifecycle for supported countries. Managing complex People Operations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy and execution in line with local legislation of organisational restructuring and coaching and advising managers to resolve cases.

You will need expertise in

  • Employment law.
  • HR processes, such as high-volume employee relations case management (complex cases),
  • Disciplinary and grievance matters, good understanding and able to advise on employment law and employment tribunal processes.
  • Strong experience working with Unions, particularly GMB (for drivers – Cryo, Bulk and PG ; and plant operators), such as negotiating with the union on pay matters, T&Cs changes, attending committee meetings, etc.
  • Provision of coaching and support others in the team on union matters.
