Performance Calibration Engineer sort for manufacturing environment. You will be familiar with engine performance development. The role is a mix of new product development and improving current models. The environment aims for efficiencies in quality improvement and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of engine performance development and validation
- Adopting new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) achieving greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make the product or process more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborating with all functional areas to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the customer and dealer network.
Experience required
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Cameo or AVL software or similar
- Performance and emissions calibrations
- Engine performance development and validation
- New product development and maintaining existing product
