Battery Validation Contract role Peterborough
We are currently seeking an experienced Battery Validation Engineer to join the Electrification & Energy Solutions Battery Development Team focused on developing and validating a range of battery pack and electrical systems for a variety of applications.
You will be involved in the creation and development of detailed battery pack test plans based upon program technical objectives of System requirements, legislation requirements and risk assessments, DFMEAs. Working with both internal and external test providers to finalise plans, document tests and agree schedules. A background in battery validation and knowledge of industry standards is needed to be successful.
The experience required
- Two years of high voltage battery validation experience with good fundamental battery system knowledge
- Ability to read and understand from battery test data.
- Understanding of battery systems.
- Background in battery validation
- Ability to create detailed test specifications and technical documentation
- Experience in DFMEA is highly desirable
Your education and background
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering subject – Engineering, Computer Science
- Systems Engineering experience
- Automotive or related industry experience
