Senior Software Engineer

Knutsford, Cheshire (Remote or Hybrid)

£55-65k Salary

We’re looking for an individual to play a significant role within an expanding development team, implementing new features for one of their core products; a multi-tenant system used in both UK & US.

As the development team keep pace with the company\’s international expansion plans, there\’s a role for an experienced Software Engineer that has opened up. There\’s a slight bias towards backend development but someone comfortable across the full stack would be hugely desirable. As one of twelve developers, everyone has a voice and everyone has a contribution to make.

Core tech stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, Express, React, AWS

What we are looking for:

• Strong software engineering experience (that probably looks like 5-6 years plus but we\’re not going to be purely rule out based on years on the clock)
• Good command of AWS technologies like Lambdas, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, etc
• Proven experience of integrations into multiple third parties through APIs
• Excellent command of Node.js and the ability to build scalable applications
• Appreciation of the wider concepts that go into making software great e.g. accessibility, monitoring, security etc
• You’ll be required to implement both independent skill sets and work collaboratively as part of a small team

A little bit more:

• Salary somewhere between £55,000 – £65,000
• Primaily remote working- a handful of office days per year for team meetups. However, if you\’re local to Cheshire and enjoy a hybrid working pattern, you\’re welcome to come in as much as you want.
• 25 days’ holiday (+BH)
