Low-Code Solutions Architect

Liverpool (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)

Technology is evolving, and so is the way businesses build applications. We are looking for someone who can design and implement scalable low-code solutions that help simplify complex processes.

We’re working exclusively with an organisation that helps charities make a real difference across the UK. Their goal is to enhance efficiency through automation, and low-code technology is central to their digital transformation strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and Developing Low-Code Solutions:

• Build applications using Appian, Mendix, OutSystems, or Microsoft Power Apps.
• Define workflows, data models, and user interfaces that align with business needs.
• Implement integrations with databases, APIs, and finance systems.
• Set and maintain best practice standards for low-code development.
• Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance, security, and scalability.

Working with Stakeholders:

• Collaborate with teams to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Present solution designs and prototypes to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Manage expectations and guide non-technical stakeholders through the development process.

Driving Innovation and Strategy:

• Stay informed about new features and trends in low-code development.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems through automation.
• Ensure solutions align with the organisation’s IT strategy and long-term goals.

What We’re Looking For

The Essentials:

• 2+ years’ experience working with a low-code platform (Appian, Mendix, OutSystems, or PowerApps).
• Strong understanding of workflows, process automation, and UI/UX design.
• Experience with API integrations, database management, and application security.
• The ability to analyse business problems and design practical, efficient solutions.
• Comfortable working in small teams, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

The Bonus Points:

• Certifications in low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert).
• Experience with project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).
