A well-established and digitally progressive not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Chief Financial, Investment & Governance Officer (CFIGO) to join their Executive Leadership Team. With a national remit and a mission to enable charities to do more of their amazing work, this organisation is entering a transformative phase of digital growth and strategic evolution.
As CFIGO, you’ll play a pivotal role in stewarding financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, investment performance, and best-in-class governance frameworks. Working in close partnership with the Chief Executive and Board, you’ll ensure effective oversight of financial strategy, risk management, and organisational integrity - all whilst helping to maximise the social and business impact of their work.
- Financial Leadership & Control
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure robust internal controls and audit readiness.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Develop and embed governance policies, risk frameworks, and internal audit practices.
- Define and implement strategic investment plans aligned with organisation growth ambitions.
- Manage (alongside their partners) investment portfolios, asset allocation and performance analysis.
- Report on performance and risk to Board and Investment Committees.
A track record of successful financial leadership in a range of environments, and the ability to draw on this varied experience to continually improve financial posture. Broad experience incorporating investment and governance standards.
