We are currently supporting a PE-backed consumer platform as they continue building out their internal engineering capability following a major shift away from outsourced development. The business operates a large-scale rewards and membership platform used by millions of people across the UK, partnering with some of the best-known retail and consumer brands.
They are now building several cross-functional product squads internally and are looking for a Front End Engineer to join one of their Manchester-based teams.
What the role will actually feel like:
You will join one of the newly built product squads helping reshape how millions of members interact with the platform across web and mobile. A big part of the role will be improving and rebuilding customer journeys that directly impact engagement, conversion, and retention, not just shipping frontend tickets disconnected from the wider product.
You will work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering in a genuinely collaborative environment where frontend engineers are involved in conversations around customer behaviour, experimentation, and product direction, not just implementation.
