Registered Nurse (RGN) – Days Permanent | Day Shifts | Nursing Home | Active NMC PIN Required | Immediate Interviews RGN Looking for a Permanent Day-Shift Nursing Role? Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for a permanent nursing home position working day shifts ? We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Day Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established nursing home and become an important part of its clinical and care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RGN who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day clinical care of residents, working closely with families, GPs, healthcare professionals and the wider care team . Make a Difference Every Day As the Registered Nurse on shift, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care. You will be responsible for: Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care Medication administration and management Completing and reviewing individual care plans Carrying out clinical and risk assessments Monitoring residents and responding to changes in their health Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation Supporting and guiding Care Assistants during the shift Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals Communicating with residents and their families Providing effective clinical handovers Supporting safeguarding and infection prevention procedures Maintaining high clinical and professional standards Promoting residents' dignity, independence and quality of life Are You the RGN We're Looking For? To be considered for this position, you will need: Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification Active UK NMC PIN – essential Good clinical knowledge and nursing skills Confidence with medication management Strong care planning and assessment skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to support and guide members of the care team A professional, compassionate and resident-focused approach The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Previous experience within a nursing home, elderly care or dementia care environment would be highly advantageous.
