We are looking for a financial controller to join the finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Financial Controller is responsible for the preparation of the company’s financial reporting. You must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work to strict deadlines, ensuring a professional approach to internal and external customers at all times.

Contractual details of the financial controller:

  • Circa £50,000 per annum
  • Based in Shrewsbury
  • Working hours - 08:00 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch) Monday to Friday
  • Onsite parking

Key Responsibilities of the financial controller:

  • Management Accounts: Monthly composition of management accounts
  • Cash Flow and Banking: Day to day cash flow control and draw down reconciliation
  • Customers and Sales Ledger: Full control of new customers including credit line, system integration and payment terms
  • Suppliers and Purchase Ledger: Control of payments, dispute handling and managing company...
