We are looking for a financial controller to join the finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Financial Controller is responsible for preparation of the company’s financial reporting. You must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work to strict deadlines ensuring a professional approach to internal and external customers at all times.
Contractual details of the financial controller:
- Circa £50,000 per annum
- Based in Shrewsbury
- Working hours - hour lunch
- Monday to Friday working
- Onsite parking
Key Responsibilities of financial controller:
- Management Accounts: Monthly composition of management accounts
- Cash Flow and Banking: Day to Day cash flow control and draw down reconciliation
- Customers and Sales Ledger: Full control of new customers including credit line, system integration and payment terms
- Suppliers and Purchase Ledger: Control of payments, dispute handling and managing company policy
- HMRC: Ensure HMRC compliance in line with CIS and PAYE payments and contributions. Responsible for VAT for the business.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar finance role previously, having gained experience within a recognised employer. This position of financial controller is ready to start and would suit someone who has no notice period ideally.
