The main purpose of the role is to prepare surfaces for various paint and coatings applications.
Contract and Benefits:
- Temp - Perm contract with full time contract offered after successful completion of 3 month probation
- Monday - Friday role
- Weekday and weekend overtime available
- Working hours: 40 - Mon-Fri 0730 - 1600

Core responsibilities:
- Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed
- Clean any contaminants, such as rust and dirt, using abrasive blasting equipment or other hand tools, ensuring smooth surface finishes to maximize adherence to protective coatings
- Apply standards and perform tasks independently, while coordinating with a team of coating application operatives
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining and enhancing the appearance of the parts
- Any other duties which may be reasonably required
Key Skills required:
- Previous commercial vehicle prepping
- Previous experience with hand tools
- Shot blasting experience desirable
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Self-motivated and organised
