QHSE Manager Based in Gloucester

Circa Β£45,000 QHSE Manager required for a prominent manufacturing hub based in Gloucester. The QHSE Manager role is a mixed role relating to all aspects of the sites Quality, Health & Safety & Environmental compliance and promoting a healthy work culture. Benefits of QHSE Manager: Circa Β£45,000 per annum 28 days annual leave Company pension Onsite parking Canteen Core responsibilities of the QHSE Manager: Responsible for maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation. Ensuring the site complies with all regulatory requirements and that a strong Health & Safety Culture is promoted and adhered to protecting employees and visitors alike. Develop, manage, monitor, promote and report on the QHSE performance of the site Carry out risk assessments identifying and investigating any issues across all aspects of QHSE working with key internal and external stakeholders to eliminate risk. Develop site action plans based on your findings and drive improvement, monitoring progress and reporting on the site's QHSE performance. Monitoring and advising on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice. Responsible for liaising with third party inspections/auditors regarding company accreditation and compliance matters, e.g. HSE, Local Authority, Fire Services, Insurance, ISO accreditation, etc Reviewing training and competency with Team Leaders and assisting in arranging training where required. Reporting the site's QHSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as and when required. Lead / manage /coach and develop individuals and participate in site QHSE activities such as audits and projects to maintain all site accreditations and certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001). To devise, develop and monitor effective Risk Assessment management strategies and make recommendations. Core skill requirements for QHSE Manager: NEBOSH or equivalent Six Sigma - green or Black Belt desireable Previous experience within a manufacturing environment Direct experience of leading external audits to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Analytical, numerical and problem solving mindset If you are interesting in exploring this role further, and you match the core requirements of the role, apply today and if selected a consultant will respond within 48 hours.
