We are currently seeking an experienced and professional production supervisor to supervise a set early AM shift within the machine shop of a leading manufacturer. The purpose of this role is to ensure daily/weekly production targets are achieved to meet quality standards whilst optimising efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Elements of the role:
- Plan and implement work orders, allocating workforce accordingly
- Adhere to quality standards, procedures and techniques
- Continually monitor and work alongside machine shop, engineers, designers and management
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Work closely with maintenance team to organise repairs and calibrations
- Implement and ensure 5s is constantly in practice
- Health and safety advocate
Required skills for the role:
- 2 years + experience within a similar role - preferably within engineering or manufacturing environment
- Have toolmaking, CNC and/or lathe skills and exposure
- Experience in manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility
- Ideally IOSH accredited
- Manufacturing or engineering qualification or apprenticeship
- Have a logical and problem solving approach
- Written English and Math skills
- Excellent communication skills to people at all levels, internal and external
