HGV Technician Full time - permanent Based in Droitwich £46500 + pa basic + overtime and benefits
Are you an experienced HGV Technician or Mechanic? Looking for stability in a full time role? We have a new role of HGV Technician based in Droitwich. This role of HGV Technician is integral to the success of the overall service operation and will be joining a highly skilled team of technicians.
Benefits and package of the HGV Technician/Mechanic:
- £46500 + basic salary
- Overtime available and paid at 1.5 x basic
- 40 hours per week contract
- Monday to Friday Day work - 0700 starts
- Pension enrolment

Key Responsibilities of HGV Technician/Mechanic:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
- Liaise with parts department to attain parts
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses
Qualifications/Experience for HGV Technician/Mechanic:
- Excellent customer service skills, customer contact and interaction
- HGV and PSV licence (desirable but not essential)
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles
- Experience in commercial workshop
