We are seeking an experienced and professional CNC Grinder to join a leading precision manufacturer in Leicester, East Mids.
A CNC grinder is a highly automated machine tool that uses a rotating abrasive wheel to remove microscopic layers of material from a workpiece. Its primary role is to perform precision finishing, achieving micron-level tolerances and mirror-like surface finishes that standard milling machines and lathes cannot provide.
Benefits and contract of CNC Grinder:
- Upto £40,000 basic salary - Overtime available with premium rates - Pension enrolment - Onsite parking - 28 days holiday - Day work Fri - standard week
Key Responsibilities & Skills of CNC Grinder:
Setting & Operation: Experience with 4/5-axis grinding machines, handling high-mix, low-volume production of precision components.
Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve machine, tool, or material issues to optimise cycle times.
Maintenance: Proficient in routine maintenance and preventive care of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Process Improvement: Experienced in reducing set-up times and enhancing process efficiency.
Professional Experience & Attributes of CNC Grinder:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Team-oriented with a, proactive, "can-do" attitude.
2 years minimum working with CNC machinery. xehkeey
