We have an exceptional opportunity to join a leading manufacturer as the senior production manager. This role requires a mixture of hands-on leadership within the shop floor alongside senior management leadership at board level and their high-end clients. You must quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the wider organisation to be able to effectively manage all aspects of production, with a core team of 15 engineers that will report directly into you.

- Base salary of up to £80,000

- 25 Days + Statutory Holiday Entitlement
- Hours of work - 7 am to 4 pm Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 12 pm Fridays.

Key Responsibilities of the senior production manager:
- Take absolute ownership of the production pipeline, ensuring completed projects are delivered to the sales team on time and fault-free.
- Oversee modernising production methods to improve and maximise efficiency output.
- Ensure departmental production and delivery targets are met.
- Act as the primary floor-lead for troubleshooting, working alongside engineers to resolve complex mechanical or aesthetic issues in real-time.
- Serve as the final arbiter of quality, using an obsessive eye for detail to ensure every component meets the company standards.
- Evaluate traditional techniques to identify opportunities for modernisation and time saving without compromising artisanal integrity.
- Be the bridge between the shop floor and board room.
- Act as the production point of contact for the Sales Department, providing accurate progress reports and managing build expectations.
- Build and maintain relationships within the industry including outworkers, suppliers and competitors.
