Location: Kettering Road
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional tyre fitting services at our Kettering Road, Northampton centre, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service. As a Tyre Fitter, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining and fitting tyres on a wide range of vehicles.
General Responsibilities:
- Tyre Fitting: Perform tyre changes, repairs, balancing, and alignment at customer locations using mobile equipment. Handle tyres for various vehicle types, including cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
- Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering queries, and offering expert advice on tyre care and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations during tyre fitting procedures, ensuring both your safety and that of the customer.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all mobile fitting equipment and tools are in good working order, clean, and properly stored in the mobile unit. Report any faults or issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of tyres and materials within the mobile unit, ensuring you have the necessary inventory to complete jobs efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all jobs completed, including customer details, services provided, and any additional work recommended.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products, such as wheel alignment, balancing, or premium tyre options, to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue.
