£40,000 to £45,000 + (OTE 60,000) + Vehicle, Door-to-Door + Bonus.

Innotech are currently recruiting for one of the UK's fastest growing businesses within the renewables industry! They are looking for multiple engineering technicians to join the team to service, maintain and repair large internal combustion engines or the power industry.

The ideal candidate for the role is someone who has experience with either mechanical or electrical systems, working alongside engines. The role would suit a candidate from ex forces, generators, plant, marine or CHP.

The day to day role will be commissioning of large internal combustion engines on multiple sites, working alongside experienced Operations Engineers. The role has a lot of responsibility as the systems are required as back up to the grid.

The Role:

  • As a Commissioning Engineer, you will carry out all aspects of commissioning activity for products including MTU, Doosan, Caterpillar (MWM), Volvo, Iveco, Perkins, Mitsubishi, 400kW to 4,500kW.
  • Following all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, regulations and requirements, you will carry out all fault finding on installations, ensuring that all problems are closed out to the required quality standard.
  • You will also train clients and internal employees on the product to allow safe operation as required and occasionally support the wider team in specialist troubleshooting and field support.

The Candidate:

  • Qualification to ONC/D, NVQ level II or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline.
  • CSCS card.
  • 3+ years' experience as an engineer/technician working on diesel and gas power generation.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Commissioning Engineer.
  • Full UK driving licence.
