We’re looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join our IT team at our Ellesmere Port site. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support across the business, ensuring a seamless user experience through effective incident management, technical support, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and resolving incidents and service requests using our ITSM system (ServiceNow)
  • Providing responsive, customer-focused IT support across multiple channels
  • Delivering first-line technical support across Windows, Microsoft 365, and user/device management
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues using remote support tools
  • Supporting and escalating major incidents, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to knowledge base improvements
  • Identifying recurring issues and supporting problem management and continuous improvement
  • Working in line with ITIL processes and information security best practice

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a Service Desk or IT support role (ideally in a corporate environment)
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and endpoint support
  • Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID and tools such as Intune
  • Understanding of ITIL principles
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality service
