Innospec undertakes ground‑breaking research into chemistries that can be utilised for important areas of performance chemicals; to increase the efficacy and sustainability of various fuels, personal care products, home care products, crop treatment and mining, etc.
We have a vacancy for a Placement Student to join the Customer Technical Services team within our Fuel Specialties group for approximately 12 months starting in Summer 2026. The role will be mainly laboratory based and will involve, under appropriate supervision and training, performing laboratory studies to support the use of products; development of new product formulations/applications; providing field support; troubleshooting/resolving field problems.
You should be studying towards a degree in chemistry or applied chemistry. You must be eager to work in the lab developing your analytical and problem‑solving skills, have good communication, presentation and organisational skills and have the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
