We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Innomotics. The Industry-Leader of Motors and Drives, Innomotics is an industry-leading supplier of motors and large drive systems. Your Future Role
Innomotics is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager for our Large Drives Applications sales team, which covers the Central region – Supporting HV, SYSO & CS divisions. This person will be responsible for the sales efforts in designated accounts, whilst proactively developing regional opportunities in existing and new business areas for variable speed drives, motors and the associated services.
This is a perfect role for someone with an electrical engineering background, who is looking to move from internal to external sales or looking for their next role in external sales. The successful candidate will be supported technically and provided with training and development.
- Sales and business development of variable speed drives and motor portfolio for rotating machinery applications such as pumps, fans, compressors.
- Regularly visiting all customers within the region to identify sales opportunities.
- Planning sales visits to maximise customer engagement.
- Manage the overall interface between Innomotics and the assigned customers at all levels both at customer’s sites and headquarters, developing relationships (at all levels).
- Coordinating sales activities and customer engagement with our Vertical Sales Leads including but not limited to Power, Oil & Gas, Cement, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Steel.
- Working with regional partners to jointly develop business and sales in their end user customer base.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and also collaborate as part of a team. In a typical week this person will be out visiting customers more than they are working from home.
- Achieve annual order intake targets.
- To own the sales process and sales strategy for designated customer accounts.
- Identify sales opportunities for our product, systems and solutions portfolio.
- To generate and evaluate sales leads and new business opportunities.
- To evaluate the market prices and competition for opportunities.
- To negotiate customer contracts successfully thereby maximising both order entry and profit.
- To promote strategies that develop new order opportunities in a way which maximises order value and profit.
- To provide regular reporting on order intake, forecasting and monthly sales updates.
- Manage and update sales opportunity pipeline with CRM tools.
