  • Our apprenticeship programme lasts for 5 years, during which time you will spend time studying towards your Degree Qualification at our partner University, The University of Nottingham, on a Block Release basis whilst gaining real practical experience working in our Service Engineering, Application Engineering and Project Management teams based in Manchester, as well as on customer sites at home and overseas.
  • Successful completion of the programme will result in you being awarded a BEng (Hons) Electro‑mechanical Engineering and Electro‑mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship Certificate.

What do I need to apply?

  • Grade B in A-level Mathematics (or equivalent), and two additional A-levels at Grade B (or equivalent). The following A-levels are not accepted: Citizenship Skills, General Studies and Critical Thinking.
  • Relevant engineering BTEC qualification, preceding level apprenticeship or equivalent demonstrable work experience in the occupational area.
  • A discussion will be required to check suitability.
  • Where a candidate does not hold a recent level 3 mathematical qualification, such as A-level mathematics at Grade B or above but has alternative qualifications or experience (and meets all other eligibility requirements) candidates are invited to a maths discussion or assessment as part of the application process.
