- Maintain a working knowledge of project-level administration (procurement, billing, and logistics) to provide hands-on coverage and oversight during team absences, ensuring no impact on delivery.
Technical Assessment & Deployment Planning (Pre-Deployment Phase)
- Engage customer technical teams to understand existing infrastructure and constraints.
- Determine applicability of standard Bill of Materials (BOM) and identify when upsizing or customization is required.
- Validate architecture design, including connectivity between multiple data centres where applicable.
- Secure technical buy-in from customer stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT and security policies.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractor project managers responsible for site-level deployments.
- Ensure deployment quality, adherence to standards, and consistency across sites.
- Review technical deliverables, acceptance testing results, and documentation.
- Track subcontractor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface between customer leadership, engineering teams, SOC teams, and vendors.
- Communicate program progress, risks, and milestones to senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making across business and technical teams.
Transition to Operations
- Ensure successful system integration with SOC and operational teams.
- Oversee documentation, knowledge transfer, and acceptance sign-off.
- Support transition into Day-1 and Day-2 operational support models.
