Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval). It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.
We’re looking for a brilliant Personal Assistant (PA) who brings order, clarity and a bit of magic to the everyday. Someone exceptionally organised, calm under pressure and naturally great with people. You’ll be right at the heart of the business, supporting our CEO, partnering with our Board Directors and leading our lovely PA team. If you enjoy responsibility, variety and being the person everyone trusts to make things happen, this could be the perfect role.
You’ll be:
- Supporting the CEO
- Managing a complex and fast-moving diary, protecting focus time and balancing priorities.
- Coordinating all CEO travel, logistics and itineraries.
- Being a trusted gatekeeper, spotting what’s needed before being asked.
- Preparing and supporting meetings: agendas, briefings, follow-ups and coordination both within innocent and with our shareholder.
- Drafting clear, thoughtful communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Partnering with internal comms to plan and deliver internal and external CEO communications.
- Leading our PA team
- Managing, motivating and developing a first‑class PA team.
- Creating a collaborative, supportive and high‑performing team culture.
- Setting clear standards and helping the team stay one step ahead.
- Supporting our senior leadership team
- Owning the rhythm and planning of SLT meetings, coordinating content and actions.
- Making sure the SLT has what they need to make great decisions.
- Leading the organisation of twice‑yearly in‑person SLT gatherings, from logistics to creative input.
You’ll have:
- Previous experience supporting a CEO or senior executives.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted relationships at every level.
- Natural authority and confidence, with excellent judgement and discretion.
- Warm, approachable people skills.
- Calmness under pressure, bringing clarity to fast‑moving situations.
- Leadership experience and the ability to develop high‑performing teams.
- Strong organisational, project and event management skills.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- A love of working in a fast‑paced, results driven and values led culture.
You’ll get:
- A central role at the heart of a purpose‑led organisation.
- The chance to develop and shape how our PA team operates.
- Cross‑functional exposure to senior stakeholders and business‑wide decision‑making.
- Opportunities to improve processes and influence ways of working.
- A varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
- The chance to be part of a friendly, ambitious team (plus plenty of fruit and veg juices and smoothies).
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further. In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary, private healthcare, a target‑based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are. Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring. Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
