Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval). It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.
We’re looking for a Marketing Finance Manager to join our team for a year of making big things happen. You’ll be the finance partner to our European marketing team, helping shape the future of our drinks through smart, simple financial thinking. From building the Profit & Loss (P&L) for new ideas to guiding decisions across our whole product range, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow in the right way. If you enjoy turning numbers into stories and ideas into action, this one’s for you.
You’ll be:
- Leading the financial business cases for innovation projects
- Bringing together marketing, commercial and supply teams to build clear, reliable P&Ls
- Presenting financial insights and “so what?” recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Partnering with marketing to review monthly performance across the portfolio
- Highlighting focus areas for our wider business review cycle
- Shaping long‑term portfolio plans across innovation and renovation
- Tracking progress against long‑range plans and suggesting course corrections
- Driving better tools, processes and ways of working to keep us improving
You’ll have:
- A strong understanding of how a P&L works
- Experience in business partnering with commercial or marketing teams
- A knack for turning data into clear actions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell a simple, compelling financial story
- The confidence to influence and collaborate with teams who may have competing priorities
- A growth mindset and curiosity for doing things better
You’ll get:
- The chance to shape the financial direction of some of our most exciting innovation projects
- To work closely with our European marketing, commercial and supply teams, learning how ideas come to life from concept to shelf
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and influencing key business decisions
- A front‑row seat to how long‑term portfolio planning works in a fast‑moving consumer goods company
- Opportunities to build new tools, simplify processes and make your mark on how we work
- A mix of collaborative office time and focused home working, with flexibility to fit around life
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary, private healthcare, a target‑based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring. Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
