You will have a clear view of pricing, promotions, customer profitability and trade investment, and see how all of these come together to shape the business. Working closely with our commercial teams, you will learn how we work with customers and how decisions are actually made day to day, not just how they look on paper. The team is heading towards deeper insight, clearer forecasting and stronger controls, so the business can trust the numbers when it really matters. It is a role with real visibility and growing influence.
You’ll be:
- Owning key checks that protect our numbers, including price variance checks and forecast input checks, validating completeness, accuracy and sensible phasing.
- Supporting trade terms activity (pricing, promos, discounts, rebates and customer investment), working with the commercial team to keep processes running smoothly and compliantly.
- Tracking and managing trade spend, allocating invoices to promotions, monitoring invoice/accrual balances, and supporting actions to reduce aged or unallocated items.
- Working with stakeholders to investigate variances and resolve root causes, using data to explain what’s happened and what it means.
- Supporting period‑end and ad‑hoc reporting, using accounting systems confidently and building clear, well‑structured Excel outputs.
You’ll have:
- A sharp eye for detail and a real commitment to accurate, reliable numbers.
- Strong Excel skills, with the motivation to keep improving them.
- The ability to build relationships and work comfortably with non‑finance teams.
- A problem‑solving mindset and enjoyment of improving processes.
- Curiosity about the commercial side of the business and a desire to understand why things happen.
- Confidence to challenge assumptions in a thoughtful, constructive way.
You’ll get:
- Hands‑on exposure to how commercial decisions are supported, challenged and signed off.
- The chance to learn about trade terms, customer investment, forecasting and spend governance.
- Close collaboration with commercial, logistics and finance colleagues across the business.
- Ownership of key processes that protect the quality of our forecasts and reporting.
- Opportunities to spot patterns, question variances and suggest better ways of working.
- A role that grows in scope, trust and responsibility as your confidence and insight develop.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary, private healthcare, a target‑based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
