UK&I Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager
Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).
It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.
what you’ll be doing
We’re looking for a UK&I Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to help us activate and deliver digital marketing initiatives within our UK&I Marketing Team. This is an exciting place to be as we’re working on our growth ambition.
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager will play a key role in bringing our brand to life across digital channels, working closely with local marketing, our media agency, and central marketing teams to execute campaigns, manage content, and drive engagement. You’ll help shape and deliver digital and social media plans that support our portfolio strategy, while ensuring consistency, creativity, and performance across platforms.
It’s a broad and hands‑on role that will help you further develop your digital marketing competencies on an innovative and growing brand, and in a company that champions personal development and offers lots of potential for progression for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Translate central digital and social strategy into market-level activation plans for assigned segments and platforms.
- Support ABP execution in partnership with local Marketing, our media agency, commercial, and cross‑functional teams.
- Localise and implement digital content and social media initiatives that drive brand relevance and engagement in market.
- Develop and deliver digital toolkits and assets for in‑market execution.
- Lead the execution of digital and social media campaigns, including content rollout, paid media, and influencer collaborations.
- Support cross‑market digital projects such as platform renovations, new tool adoption, or content localisation.
- Ensure timely delivery of digital assets through internal processes and agency coordination.
- Track and analyse digital performance across channels, recommending optimisations and interventions where needed.
- Manage digital budgets effectively, ensuring spend aligns with campaign goals and delivers ROI.
- Bring external inspiration and best practices to elevate our digital capabilities and impact.
- Work collaboratively with in‑market teams (sales, finance, supply), central marketing, and media agency partners to ensure cohesive digital execution.
- Actively contribute to cluster‑wide digital forums or working groups, sharing learnings and driving consistency.
- Manage external agencies and partners to deliver high‑quality digital output.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in digital marketing and social media management, ideally within a top‑tier FMCG company.
- Proven track record of managing social media for brands with strong followings and consistent engagement.
- Experience contributing to and executing digital campaigns within a broader brand and media strategy.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling, brand‑aligned content across formats.
- Proficiency in analytics tools to track performance, optimise strategy, and report ROI.
- A flair for ideation and the flexibility to pivot quickly in response to performance data or cultural moments.
- Good communication and stakeholder management capability, ideally within a matrix structure.
- Cross‑functional project management skills and comfort working with central teams and external agencies.
- A natural curiosity and consumer focus, with a keen eye for emerging trends and platform innovations.
- Independent and resilient, with a hands‑on mentality and willingness to work on all things big and small.
- Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
Benefits
- The chance to work for a purpose and values‑led business and help more people live well through the goodness of fruit and veg. You’ll join a European Marketing team that puts consumer and category insight firmly at the heart of business decision making. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the long‑term strategy for our portfolio and how we engage with drinkers across EU.
- innocent supports a flexible, hybrid way of working between work and home – with sustainability and protecting mental health at its heart. As well as the standard stuff you get for turning up for work, you’ll also get amazing learning & development support, you’ll have access to some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at.
- A solid rewards package that includes a salary, private healthcare, a target‑based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday.
- Free smoothies and a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.
Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
