Here at innocent, the Category Development team is responsible for bringing the consumer, shopper, competitor and category insight to the business and to customers. We partner effectively both internally & externally to help grow our customer’s Chilled Juice Category, and innocent’s market share within it.

You’ll be…

  • A category champion in & out of Fruit Towers
  • Making an impact by bringing insight, influence & growth – to our key grocery customers
  • Bringing to life our UK Category vision with grocery customers – creating compelling category stories, whilst building excellent customer relationships with them
  • Influential in advising & influencing grocery customer range reviews, innovation launches and merchandising initiatives
  • In Fruit Towers collaborate cross functionally and shape strategy & plans for a key product segment within innocent, work cross-functionally with the likes of Insights, Commercial, Shopper, Brand & Portfolio, RGM on a daily basis
  • Be a part of the European "Cat Bev" community, sharing, contributing & learning Category Development best practise
  • Involved in company ABP (annual business planning) and LRP (long range planning) cycles

You’ll have:

  • Proven track record working as an effective category manager with Grocery customer(s)
  • Curiosity in performance, emerging trends & insights across our shoppers, consumers, retailers, category & competitors.
  • Analytical skills to help assess trends & identify key insights (Being an excel enthusiast will help).
  • Previous experience working with Nielsen and Kantar data
  • Can use data to tell a clear, compelling category story with a call to action
  • Passionate about storytelling, with proven presentation skills which will engage & excite our customers
  • Ability to build and sustain influential customer relationships
  • Skilled at navigating complex situations and adapting plans as priorities evolve.
  • A confident communicator who knows how to navigate a matrix structure and work collaboratively in cross functional teams
