We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our UK & Ireland finance team on a fixed-term basis. Supporting an Analyst, this role manages trade investment (TI) and owns P&L lines between revenue and operating profit, including DME, OPEX, and Local Logistics. You will work closely with the Head of UK Marketing and Head of UK Operations to provide decision support, financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
This role involves leading key projects, including transitioning to a new controls framework and refreshing our TI management process. It will also involve managing an analyst during the maternity cover from September.
This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in commercial finance and business partnering, with involvement in change projects to enhance accountability and management of TI spend.
You’ll be:
- Ensuring smooth period-end delivery on TI, Logs, and Marketing, maintaining strong controls and processes.
- Playing a key role in audit processes and the transition to new controls frameworks.
- Owning our TI management, ensuring process compliance, and collaborating with the UK commercial and finance teams to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partnering with the UK Supply Operations Lead and UK Marketing Lead.
- Managing end-to-end P&L lines, including performance tracking, budgeting, and decision support.
You’ll have:
- A solid understanding of customer P&Ls and experience managing balance sheets.
- Experience in business partnering and influencing non-finance teams.
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
- An understanding of financial controls and compliance importance.
