Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval). It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way.
Our commercial team looks after a wonderfully mixed bunch of customers — from big supermarkets to global coffee chains to the friendly deli down the road. We’re growing fast and want to make sure our drinks show up in all the right places, in all the right ways. As a National Account Executive (which we call a Commercial Executive), you’ll help shape one of our key customer accounts and keep everything running smoothly. It’s a busy, hands‑on role that sits right at the heart of how we grow, so you’ll be joining a team that’s central to innocent’s future.
You’ll be:
- Supporting the day‑to‑day running and growth of one of our key customer accounts
- Building strong relationships with your customer contacts and becoming their go‑to person
- Working with numbers, including profit and loss (P&L) reports, forecasts and promotional plans
- Helping to plan and review account performance to spot opportunities for growth
- Managing multiple priorities and keeping all the moving parts ticking along
- Communicating clearly with internal teams to keep everyone aligned
- Solving tricky problems with resilience and a cool head
- Getting stuck into customer visits and activation plans to bring our brand to life
You’ll have:
- A love of numbers and brilliant attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience juggling different tasks and stakeholders without dropping the ball
- A friendly, engaging style that helps you build great relationships
- The ability to adapt, learn fast and stay resilient when things get knotty
- Some account management experience (handy, but not essential)
You’ll get:
- A front‑row seat to how commercial really works, from selling to negotiating to planning
- The chance to work closely with a high‑performing team who love what they do
- Regular time with customers to shape activation plans and bring ideas to life
- The opportunity to sharpen your analytical and planning skills by owning key processes
- A clear path to grow your commercial career, with plenty of support along the way
- The chance to learn from brilliant people across the business and try new things as you go
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further. In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary, private healthcare, a target‑based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies. We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are. Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.
Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
