About The Role
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development and Client Relationship Management, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing the sales process for new business opportunities with institutional investors in the European Union and the United Kingdom to achieve business growth objectives. Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain domain expertise on Innocap's business and products.
- Identify prospective clients and cultivate relationships to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand Innocap's pipeline in Europe and the UK.
- Understand prospective clients' strategic needs and objectives to best position Innocap to succeed throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage sales process and the creation of any custom materials.
- Organize sales meetings with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), as needed.
- Lead the coordination of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Identify emerging trends and help position Innocap as a potential solution.
- Understand Innocap's competitors in order to differentiate Innocap with prospects.
- Significant travel throughout the EU is expected, with occasional travel abroad as required.
Primary Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Desired seniority level: 10+ years of experience in financial services; minimum 5 years of sales experience within the alternative investments industry.
- Established relationships with EU sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance companies and consultants.
- Proven track record of institutional sales success.
- Knowledge of asset servicing and hedge fund strategies is required to effectively position Innocap.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a self-starter, and consistently demonstrating initiative.
- Ability to think and act proactively, and multi-task in a stimulating environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
