VAN Driver

VAN Drivers | Warrington | circa £40,000 per annum

HG are recruiting Van drivers to work with our client based in Warrington. This is full‑time, long‑term opportunity for Van drivers to work across 7 days a week, extra shifts available. The work is clean and generally 3 to 4 collections with some handball.

Pay Rates

Pre-Parity

• Day shifts: ?£12.21 £13.57 /hour (incl. holiday pay)
• Night shifts: ?£13.36 £14.97 /hour (incl. holiday pay)

Post-Parity

• Day shifts: ?£12.60 £14.12 /hour (incl. holiday pay)
• Night shifts: ?£13.86 £15.53 /hour (incl. holiday pay)
• Expected annual earnings: ?Up to £44,158

Job Description Van Driver

• Multi-drop deliveries and small collections within the EVRiUK inter‑depot network.
• Some handball may be required.
• Ensure safe working practices and secure loads.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
• Report vehicle defects promptly.

Van Driver Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence (max 6 points for minor endorsements)
• Knowledge of WTD & Drivers Hours regulations
• Good geographical awareness
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work unsupervised
