HG Recruitment is recruiting for temporary Teaching Assistant roles in various locations throughout Merseyside, based in primary and secondary school settings. The roles may include working with children who have physical disabilities or require SEN support.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and instructional activities.
- Provide 1‑2‑1 or small‑group support to students who need additional help.
- Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, break time, and other school activities.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Prepare learning materials, resources, and classroom displays.
- Support behaviour management, including SEN strategies, and reinforce classroom rules and expectations.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
