Role
HG Recruitment are hiring an HGV Class 2 Driver for a long-term, high-value client in Irlam (M44). The role involves transporting automotive parts and materials between plants, suppliers, and logistics hubs to support smooth production and on-time deliveries. Monday to Friday shifts are available with day and night options and split earnings.
Duties
- Adhere to safe working practices to ensure safety of yourself and others.
- Secure the load of the trailer to minimise damage.
- Provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and report to Transport Office as necessary.

Requirements

- Good national geographical awareness
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Good timekeeping and able to work unsupervised
- Reliable with a commitment to delivering first-class customer service
- Good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude
